AirMatrix provides a software layer that is necessary to enable unmanned traffic management (UTM) and in conjunction, drone services, to truly scale in cities across the world. Our company allows municipalities to build aerial highways for multiple unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the sky that travel autonomously and simultaneously. This enables command and control of heightened traffic to facilitate growth in new industry applications as well as brand new industry segments.

This position

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you partner closely with our VP of Sales and CEO to support, research and prospect to secure a sufficient flow of qualified opportunities that will influence the sales pipeline. You are accountable for daily activity metrics of 40 to 50 customized prospect touch points along with monthly and quarterly quotas. You receive hands-on training with an emphasis on strategic selling and a focus on researching targeted accounts. As an SDR, you will gain in-depth experience in a rapidly growing SaaS company, working with executives as well as the CEO on strategic initiatives.

This position role reports to the Head of Sales.

Responsibilities

  • Support the sales team members with qualified opportunities
  • Help us go from 2 cities closed in 2021, to 6 in 2022, and 18 in 2023.
  • Build strong professional relationships across the Sales and Development team to create relevant collateral
  • Collaborate with the sales team members to penetrate targeted accounts with innovative and strategic approaches based on territory
  • Develop best practices to prioritize high volume inbound interest and appropriate follow up
  • Efficiently use Salesforce, Sales Navigator, and other platforms to research accounts, identify key contacts, and reach out to prospective customers and channel partners.

Basic qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent sales related experience
  • Experience in a client and/or customer-facing role

Preferred qualifications

  • Inside sales experience
  • Experience in qualifying prospects
  • CRM experience, Salesforce preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Demonstrated time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience with quotas and metrics in past positions
  • Motivation, drive and self-starting attitude
  • Familiar with Google and Office Applications.
